I was watching that reality show about the J&K plus eight children, when I noticed my son walk into the room without his eye glasses on. This is his third pair of glasses this year, they generally end up mia (missing in action) and either are never found or found in a non repairable condition. For example the time the lawn mower had them for lunch. So as I was searching the back yard, in the dark for my sons eyeglasses, I mumbled to myself I should have my own show. I certainly have just as insane of a life if not more so then those eight kids. I should write a blog, I said to myself. I wonder how you do that... so to google I went and here I am. If nothing else I can stop typing emails to myself when I think that I am bordering on insanity. Then again maybe I am bordering on sanity and realizing what I am doing has actually been the insane part.
The glasses? Yes they were found, under the chair of the patio set, mind you I went past them as I trucked out into the yard in the wet cold grass barefoot, after a half hour my feet were freezing so I gave up and headed back to the house. Thats when I found the glasses, and noticed my son and the dog had been watching me from the back door.
My son is in his twenties now, he functions at about a 4 yr old level, yes I have been watching Barney since he was blue. Did you know that Barney used to be more blue than purple? Sandy Duncan actually was the mom on the show back then. Barney was cute the first ten years....now the word bazooka comes to mind.
